Overview
The DVS 4015 is a single pole, two position switch designed to operate in a SFN network where a redundant SFN Adaptor is required.
The DVS 4015 ASI inputs are connected to the ASI outputs of main and redundant UBS SFN Adaptors. The main SFN Adaptor is equipment with a dry contact alarm relay that is connected to DVS 4015 switch control. The normally closed contacts will be set to open when an alarm appears, forcing the DVS 4015 to switch to the redundant ASI input.
The main UBS SFN Adaptor has a number of user configurable alarms that can be set to trigger the switch. A loss of power on the main SFN Adaptor will also trigger the switch. Upon removal of the alarm(s), the DVS 4015 will be switched back to the main ASI input. Front panel LED’s indicate the DVS 4015 switch’s current position.
The DVS 4015 can be mounted in a standard 19” rack and has 2 internal fans to assist natural convection.
